Whenever I go on vacation, I always miss my puppy and watch jealously as other families throw their dogs sticks at the beach (although deep down I know Trumy would only wreak havoc). While I was looking at my gallery of Truman photos, I realized he is quite the model! Hmmm maybe I should get him an agent! x)

Mystery
Since yesterday was my last day of work for the summer, I had to take a copious amount of pictures of my favorite apartment in all of Manhattan. The history, architecture, and mystery of this house intrigue me. Something makes me think it's haunted...maybe it is the overgrown shrubbery or the strange symbols carved into the metal gates. The plaque says that it used to belong to one of President Van Buren's family members, but I wonder who lives there now! Someone veeeerry very lucky, I'll tell you that. Someday maybe I will live here...but with muuuuch bigger closets ;)
I'll be in Massachusetts for the week...dropping my sister off at college! Sorry if posts are slow :(

Oh The Sights You'll See
Being in the city so often for my job at Simone Perele, I see a lot of crazy, amazing, and beautiful things every day. May it be a secret Little Japan under a four star hotel or a giant stuffed dog in the window of an office, it never gets weirder than New York. And that to me, is an amazing thing.
Here he is! I pass this adorable stuffed dog everyday on my way to work. I named him Hubert, but I'm sure his rightful owner gave him a proper name of his own!
The Empire State Building. I'd never seen it from this angle before...at first I didn't recognize it!
A shot from a little Italian cafe where I got the Antipasto and Margarita Pizza.
Gotta give my pop cred for this photo!
This quote really stood out to me when I passed it...it is not only very clever and poignant, but also true.
Delicious soup that I had at the secret Japanese restaurant! I can't imagine how my dad found this place, it was hidden under a hotel!
yummmm
The waitresses even wore Japanese garb!

My Idea of Breakfast in Bed!
The cool, crisp air of oncoming Fall has inspired me to cook. I don't know what about the new weather does it for me, maybe it is the breeze blowing through the window or the memories of my favorite Autumn recipes, but I cook until there are no more mouths to feed. Two days ago I made a lovely breakfast in bed (although he ate it in his office..) for my Pop and this morning I made Eggs Benedict for the whole family. It was a looovely occasion, to say the least!
Two eggs, sunny side up! Looks like Hank wants a bite, yum!
First time making Eggs Benedict...not that hard as they make it out to be
My pop having a second serving...either they were really good , or he was hungry. Perhaps a little bit of both.
They say diamonds are a girl's best friend...but can diamonds help clean up? I think not!

Say *Hellz* Yes to the Dress
Where's a fiance when you need one?
All of these amazing dresses are from Kleinfeld, the store at which Say Yes to the Dress is shot. This show is like chocolate, once you take one bite there is no stopping until you have watched every last episode (or have eaten the whole chocolate bar)! Although the date is very far off, I can't help but dream up my perfect wedding dress, and all of these fantasies of sparkle and tulle fit the bill!
My absolute favorite!
