Hello Hippy

It is refreshing to see so many colors in a spring line after looking through so much black! I don't know who told the designers that black and grey are spring colors, but the false message must have been delivered in mass! The fitted jackets and loose dress give this Anna Sui line an easygoing hippy prep fusion vibe.

Sonia Rykiel for H&M

H&M is really kicking up the notch on their haute machine! Jimmy Shoo accessories and shoes as well as Stella Mccartney designs are being sold at H&M's around the world, and now Sonia Rykiel? My heart just skipped a beat! All of these designs are worthy of the runway, no matter if that is the cat walk or the produce aisle in the grocery store!

Shoe Woo! and other NYC Wonders

This past Wednesday I had the ultimate tourist experience of NYC, something I surprisingly have not yet experienced even though I have taken regular trips to NYC since I was two. I did the whole kip and kaboodle including shopping at Barney's and Bloomies, taking a carriage ride through central park, visiting the first Urban Outfitters in NYC, strolling through the village, making a pit stop at Viniero's, and of course, eating Pinkberry. Though the cold weather, it was a fabulous time!

Perhaps the most shoes I've ever seen!

And the biggest...hmm or maybe the grooviest

The oldest C.O. Bigelow. I could not snap a picture of the old drug counter because the cashier yelled at me :(
What's the big deal with taking a picture anyway?

A view of the carousel from the carriage.

Sipping an ice cold coke at Serafina!

Looking for a party look? All of these Alice & Olivia designs are perfect to wear for any occasion including a semi-formal, sweet sixteen, the prom or even a wedding! Now that I cannot lust over Luella dresses, I pick Alice + Olivia as a second choice.

P.S. Alice + Olivia is sometimes sold at discount stores like TJ Maxx.

Luella-Like Dress Spotted!

Sadly, since Luella's business had to close because of an economic crisis, I will never have the heart dress from her Spring 2010 line. But, never fear, I found an alternative for only $54 at Fred Flare!

^^ Found at Style.com

Another blizzard??

The snow is still falling even though in my mind it is 72 degrees (F). I was planning on going to the YMCA pool today and pretending I was in the Bahamas sipping a strawberry daiquiris but it is too cold out to even do that!! I must do a sun dance! Here are some pics I took before going to a party this past Saturday.

Shirt: Ralph Lauren Men. Purse: Vintage (I think from the 20's). Necklace: H&M. Bracelet: Charlotte Russe

These dresses are the first ever designer apparel that I think i actually need! I have big plans of going on a missions to seek out the second dress. Wish me luck, this wont be easy!

I want this one please!! ^^

It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Spring Time

I just couldn't resist...they look so delicious! It's almost Valentines day, one of the many holidays when cookie calories don't count.

I'm in a very tulle-y mood. Tulle goes hand in hand with skipping through a field of daisies which seems very inviting indeed! Dress by J. Mendel.
