Being in the city so often for my job at Simone Perele, I see a lot of crazy, amazing, and beautiful things every day. May it be a secret Little Japan under a four star hotel or a giant stuffed dog in the window of an office, it never gets weirder than New York. And that to me, is an amazing thing.
Here he is! I pass this adorable stuffed dog everyday on my way to work. I named him Hubert, but I'm sure his rightful owner gave him a proper name of his own!
The Empire State Building. I'd never seen it from this angle before...at first I didn't recognize it!
A shot from a little Italian cafe where I got the Antipasto and Margarita Pizza.
Gotta give my pop cred for this photo!
This quote really stood out to me when I passed it...it is not only very clever and poignant, but also true.
Delicious soup that I had at the secret Japanese restaurant! I can't imagine how my dad found this place, it was hidden under a hotel!
yummmm
The waitresses even wore Japanese garb!

I am in love with these photographs. How on earth can anyone resist New York City?! :)
I've thought of moving to the city many times. It hasn't happened yet, but maybe it will one of these days. I love the idea of just seeing so many interesting things everyday as I walk to and from work! And that Japanese restaurant looks so good, the soup especially. I'll have to look it up for next time I'm in town.
That was such a delicious lunch! And thanks for your shout out on the picture. Dad
